Promoting Environmental Sustainability through School Food Procurement in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Pathways for implementing a Holistic Approach

This webinar is being organized within the framework of the second phase of the joint FAO-UNEP project on Sustainable Public Procurement for Sustainable Food Systems, and as part of the efforts of the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Public Procurement and Sustainable Food Systems Programmes.

The purpose of this webinar is to build capacity and foster knowledge exchange by presenting and discussing these recommendations. The webinar will serve as a practical platform for policymakers, procurement professionals, and sustainability experts to discuss the potential and actionable strategies for integrating environmental considerations into public food procurement driving forward the transformation of food systems, especially in Low and Middle Income countries contexts.
