Video: Reflections on the Role of School Feeding in Sustainable Agrifood Systems

Throughout October, RAES celebrates Food Month by sharing knowledge and experiences to strengthen school feeding programmes across Latin America and the Caribbean.

As part of the World Food Day celebration, RAES shares the presentation by Daniela Godoy, Senior Policy Officer for Food Security and Nutrition at FAO in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The talk took place during Session 1 of the PAE en Foco 2025 exchange cycle and addressed the role of school feeding in sustainable agrifood systems.

In her presentation, Daniela Godoy highlighted how school feeding programmes can contribute to the transformation of agri-food systems by strengthening local production and territorial development, promoting healthy eating habits, and improving students’ nutrition.
