Following up on the project “Strengthening School Feeding Programs: towards healthier and more sustainable environments during and after the health pandemic,” which is being carried out by the Food Coalition along with the countries of Colombia, Ecuador, and El Salvador, with technical assistance from FAO, the third event of the exchange of experiences cycle has been planned, which is called Sustainability: strategies for the prevention and measurement of food waste in social protection programs. This event is organized by the FAO Representation in Colombia.
The event also has the support and endorsement of the Sustainable School Feeding Network (RAES), which promotes dialogue spaces in the LAC region and the strengthening of school feeding.
The objective of the webinar is to promote dialogue and knowledge of strategies aimed at measuring and preventing food waste in social protection programs, especially in the school food environment.
