Since the School Meals Coalition Global Summit in Paris in October 2023, a growing number of countries have committed to documenting their national school meals programmes and joining the Research Consortium’s “Good Examples” Community of Practice.
This commitment has materialized through the publication of 23 national case studies, as well as the establishment of new connections with emerging research networks. Case study writing workshops were held in Africa, Asia, and Mexico in December 2024.
This spring webinar will highlight the first case studies published in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), along with recent contributions from other regions. It will also present the scientific method used by the Community of Practice to classify and identify smart ideas and solutions emerging from cross-country comparisons worldwide.
Authors of new case studies from Ecuador, Mexico, and Colombia will present key features of their national programmes, highlighting shared successes, challenges, and links to public policy.
The session will also spotlight global progress and the scientific approach used to compare national experiences and identify promising ideas and solutions across countries.
Join the Research Consortium’s ‘Good Examples’ Community of Practice for their annual Spring Webinar, showcasing how they’re supporting 50 countries to map their school meals programmes using a shared template.
