The Global Survey of School Meal Programs, being conducted by the Global Child Nutrition Foundation (GCNF), is the most comprehensive and large-scale data collection on national school feeding programmes. The resulting data fills a critical knowledge gap by creating and maintaining an up-to-date global database of standardized information on school meal programs.
Data collection occurs from November 2023 through June 2024 and will collect information on the 2022 school year. Therefore, the RAES invites and encourages national governments to designate a focal point to complete the Global Survey of School Meals Programs 2024.
