The Sustainable School Feeding Network (RAES), which is an initiative launched in 2018 by the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) in partnership with the National Fund for Educational Development (FNDE), with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will promote the virtual event of adhesion of Latin American and Caribbean countries and dialogue on the next actions of the RAES in the year of 2024.
In addition to the presentation of the Adhesion Form and the Joint Declaration of Commitment for Advances in School Feeding Policy in Latin America and the Caribbean, the meeting will discuss the Maturity Analysis of school feeding programmes in the countries of the region.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of the FNDE, ABC, FAO, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and representatives of the governments of Latin American and Caribbean countries, through the institutions that implement their school feeding programmes.
