The objective is to promote integrated, participatory, and permanent practices involving school administrators, pedagogues, teachers, nutritionists, school feeding councils, and the entire school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The document highlights that the curriculum is the guiding element of everything taught and learned in school, bringing together knowledge, skills, values, and practices essential to students&#8217; development. According to Brazil\u2019s&nbsp;Law of Guidelines and Bases for National Education (LDB), the curriculum must ensure a common foundation while respecting cultural and regional diversities. Therefore, including FNE in this context reinforces its strategic role in the educational process and in the promotion of healthy eating habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"908\" height=\"578\" src=\"https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27435\" srcset=\"https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-9.png 908w, https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-9-300x191.png 300w, https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-9-768x489.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 908px) 100vw, 908px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The technical note presents&nbsp;six principles and strategies&nbsp;to guide implementation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recognize the pedagogical dimension of all school activities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure access to FNE knowledge for all PNAE stakeholders;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote cross-cutting approaches in initial and continuing teacher training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gradually integrate FNE into the school environment and curriculum;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Value cultural identities and regional experiences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Align FNE actions with other MEC\/FNDE programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To support schools, the FNDE included in the note a suggested framework with\u00a0eight implementation steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diagnosis and initial planning: analysis of the context and goal setting;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curriculum integration: use of transdisciplinary approaches and extracurricular spaces;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extracurricular activities: projects, workshops, and themed events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuous training: ongoing capacity building for educators and other school staff;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community engagement: involvement of families, managers, and partners;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thematic articulation: connecting with curriculum components, school cafeterias, gardens, and sustainable practices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>School environment: direct relationship between curricular components and reference frameworks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation: follow-up, feedback, and process adjustments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>After the technical note\u2019s publication, during the&nbsp;Regional Seminar of the Midwest, held in Bras\u00edlia on 29 May, the&nbsp;General Coordination of PNAE&nbsp;emphasized that the document aims to \u201cmove beyond isolated actions and encourage continuous pedagogical practices aligned with the curriculum, recognizing FNE as an essential educational tool.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grounded in more than 15 years of legal framework \u2014 including&nbsp;Law No. 11.947\/2009,&nbsp;Law No. 13.666\/2018,&nbsp;Resolution CD\/FNDE No. 6\/2020, and&nbsp;Decree No. 11.821\/2023&nbsp;\u2014 the technical note reinforces FNDE\u2019s commitment to the holistic development of students.
