This document was adopted in 1992 by several countries to stabilize the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective of the COP is to define the necessary measures to limit the increase in the planet\u2019s temperature to 1.5\u00b0C by the end of this century, accelerating the implementation of what was agreed upon at previous COPs \u2014 particularly the 2015 Paris Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"645\" height=\"383\" src=\"https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-5.png 645w, https:\/\/redraes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-5-300x178.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 645px) 100vw, 645px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 50,000 people are expected to attend, including country delegates, negotiators, journalists, and 15,000 representatives from social movements, who will take part in parallel discussions at the People\u2019s Summit. The leaders of the participating countries also gathered in Bel\u00e9m for the COP30 Heads of State Summit, which took place before the official program, on 6 and 7 November.
