FAO opens World Food Day poster contest

People between the ages of 5 and 19 can participate by creating a poster showing a world where no one is left behind, and everyone has access to healthy and affordable food.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) launched a World Food Day poster contest, celebrated on October 16. The deadline for participation is November 4, 2022.

The idea of the poster is to show that everything in our world is connected, from our food to our cultures, environment and economies. Many people continue to face global challenges such as poverty and hunger, climate change, conflict and inequality.

The jury will select three winners in each age category and announce them in December. The winners will be promoted by FAO offices around the world and will receive a surprise gift bag and a diploma of recognition.
