Check all the food-based dietary guidelines (FBDG) of the Caribbean countries

In this link you can find the FBDG of some Caribbean countries

Food-based dietary guidelines are documents that establish a basis for public food and nutrition, health and agricultural policies in the countries. They support fostering healthy eating habits and lifestyles in the population, and can be used also as instruments to improve school feeding programmes (SFPs).

FBDGs are focused on the realities of each country, providing advice on food and dietary patterns, indicating the required nutrients to promote health and prevent chronic diseases.

The RAES platform also interviewed the coordinator of the Brazilian National School Feeding Programme (PNAE), Solange Fernandes, who talked about the importance of the FBDGs to school feeding policies. You can see the interview by clicking here.
