The XX Latin American Congress of Nutrition will take place in Cuenca, Ecuador, from 22-26 October. This edition of the traditional regional congress will be attended by researchers, members of civil society and professionals in the field of nutrition from different Latin American countries.
The aim of the congress is to promote the generation and application of knowledge in the field of nutrition and to encourage contact and exchange between researchers in these fields, in order to analyse and propose alternatives that will improve and maintain the nutritional conditions of the Latin American population in an optimal state.
The Sustainable School Feeding Network will participate in the event with a promotional stand to disseminate all the work it has been doing in the LAC region since 2018 and will also organise a symposium on the theme Sustainable School Feeding Network: progress and perspectives in Latin America and the Caribbean. The symposium will be held on 23 October, at 4:30pm, in room 4 – Hugo Ordoñez.
